Universal Components, a Carrollton, Texas window manufacturer and division of Fojetsek originated Western in 1988. In 1991 the Threshold business was sold to Dunaway Supply and moved to Longview, Texas. Paul Norton purchased Western Weatherseal in 1997. In 2005 Norton sold the company to Maria and Mark Yosten who currently own and operate the business in kilgore, Texas.

In twenty-four years of operation, Western Weatherseal has earned a reputation for flexibility, quick response, and being dependable with quality of materials. Western ships thresholds, sills, and weather stripping throughout the United States with a heavy concentration of customers in the North Texas area.

Western Weatherseal sells through manufacturer’s representatives in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The company prides itself on doing “WHATEVER IT TAKES” to satisfy customers. If given the opportunity to demonstrate it’s “can do” business approach to customers. Western can develop a long-term, satisfied customer.
